    This section contains resources designed to assist you in preparing for your Certified Conference Interpreter test.

  • Practice test (spoken languages)

    This section contains a link to the online NAATI testing platform, allowing you to practice using the system on which you will complete the CCI test (spoken languages).

    The practice test includes the following tasks in the English into LOTE (spoken languages) direction, of comparable complexity and length as a standard NAATI CCI test (spoken languages): 

    • one consecutive monologue (unseen speech)
    • one simultaneous monologue (seen speech)
    • one simultaneous monologue (unseen speech)

    You should record yourself on a separate device (e.g. phone or audio recorder) to watch/listen back later and reflect on your performance with reference to the marking rubrics.
     
    Before sitting the test, it is important that you go through the whole practice test. If you experience any technical issues viewing the practice material videos on your computer, check and see if you have met the equipment and system requirements under ‘What you will need’ in the candidate information. You need to use Google Chrome browser to access the test materials.  

    Practice tests are provided for your own preparation. You will not receive any results or feedback from NAATI.

    This section contains links to sample materials for the following tasks in the Auslan into English CCI test.

    • one simultaneous monologue (seen speech)
    • one simultaneous monologue (unseen speech—long)
    • one simultaneous monologue (unseen speech—short)

    The sample tasks are extracts of longer monologues of comparable complexity as a standard NAATI Auslan into English CCI Test conducted in local NAATI offices.
